One thing I cherish most in life is my freedom to decide what I want to do and at what time and just go for it. However, I have learn to create the balance between what I need to do or what I want to do. This clarity is what defines freedom for me.
Sometimes, it is clear we know exactly what we need to do, yet we fail to. Rather, the body feels too unwillingly and only yearn to do the total opposite of the needful. It wants to relax, eat some good food and just stick to the couch all day but in reality, every minute we waste never come back to us. We have to work twice the effort the next time, just to catch up.
Time has been designed like that and so our freedom within it.
The COVID 19 forceful lockdown, or should I rather say, a needful break. Clearly, some people are grateful because their work schedule can not afford them this luxury of free time. If they had too much then, it’s a lunch break throughout the year.
Some are taking advantage of this time already, while others are still struggling with boredom as the only reality the time has fleshed out.
HAVE YOU EVER WONDERED OR ASKED YOURSELF WHAT WOULD IT BE LIKE AFTER THIS WHOLE BREAK?
Companies will discover new models that works without human efforts? This means, you may loose your job. If you were home for almost a month and your company discovers a new way to work without your services. What then is your fate? How prepared are you for the aftermath of this break?
Your long list of 2020 goals I suspect, never had any strategy on how to manage this break, in fact, it never crossed our minds, but now it has become a thing we all have to create space for in between our goals and at the same time, learn how to manage through it and survive.
This time is crucial and it could bite back, or, for good, depending on the use of it. If you want the good of it then:

- CREATE AN ENVIRONMENT THAT MOTIVATES YOU.
YOU COMPLAIN OFTEN THAT YOU DO NOT HAVE TIME AND THAT IS WHY YOU COULD NOT DO THE THINGS YOU SHOULD HAVE DONE SOMETIMES BACK, I GUESS NOW, YOU HAVE DISCOVERED THAT YOU ARE STILL NOT DOING THEM EVEN THOUGH YOU HAVE ALL THE TIME NOW.
It is truly possible that one can waste this period so taking an intentional decision is a key secret to maximize this time. Which means, you must create an environment that motivates you to action.
Wake yourself up with a motivational video/audio, Use time quotes as your screen wall paper or the wall in your room, set daily goals and ensure that you work with with it.. The good use of this time is your freedom. It is not a moment to watch all the drama series. work never allowed you to, or scroll through all the sarcasm Twitter has to offer and laugh in alignment. It is a crucial time. Motivate yourself to always remember.
2. REDISCOVER YOURSELF
If you have been at the wrong place because you saw an opportunity yet you feel frustrated, now is the time to find out why? Look inside of you. Ask yourself these questions and sincerely answer them. After this break, what is going to be the next breaking news? Another virus or lockdown? How prepared am I for the next big thing? How can I be a better person after this whole period? Can’t I be the one to create the next breaking news? Can’t the next breaking news be about my innovative after this isolation?
Indeed there is a whole lot you could do other than what you have done. And this wild time is perfect to discover that. Be the next breaking news or spread the next breaking news? Your choice is in between.
